It is coming up on that time of year. The time of year where we all get together for the sharing in a holiday meal and gifts with those close to us. This is the same in many countries, including Uganda. Lift Up Children Uganda Orphanage may have orphaned children, but they are a family. They enjoy to celebrate during the Christmas season just as we do, but they open it up to their entire community. Not only do they enjoy in music, dance and a holiday meal with one another, they open their doors to be able to truly bless those in their surrounding community. This often blesses hundreds of people in need of both food, hope and love.
Each year we aim to be able to raise enough funds to make sure these children at LUCU Orphanage in Hima, Kasese Uganda have the best Christmas. We also wish that more of their basic needs be met. Therefore we compile 2 gifts in 1. The first being a super-awesome Christmas dinner party, and the second one being the gift of new clothing. The children each year enjoy receiving brand new outfits for each of the children, and for almost 75 children that is a lot of clothing.
This is why we need your help. By spreading the word and sharing in the work we are doing, you can help us greatly to help these children out. Children who don't have options to go to a "food kitchen" for a meal or a 2nd-hand store for clothing, but by donating to this cause you are touching and changing lives across the world. This is what we mean by "Giving hope to orphans in Uganda" .

Will you help us to continue changing and impacting more lives? There are so many ways you can do it! Donate online, send an e-transfer, write a cheque, or check out our Facebook page to learn more about some events in our area that are raising money as Christmas in Uganda Fundraisers. If you have any more questions, please reach out on social media or through email, we would love to talk more with you and always appreciate feedback.
