Why Donate?
Your donation, pooled with all other donations received, goes toward helping orphans and families in desperate need of emergency help. Accountability
In 2019, nearly 96% of all funds raised for the orphanage went directly to the LUCU orphanage in Hima, Uganda. With a different type of program for the widows' sponsorship started in May of 2020, we have had to send the funds through Western Union. It was the quickest way to have the funds sent for the emergency cases of the Village Widows. Not wanting to waste any time with exchange rates and delays, we took the extra charges upon ourselves so that they could receive food and other necessities they needed as quickly as possible. In 2020 the orphanage received 96% of all funds raised for LUCU Orphanage, and the widows received 88% of all funds raised for that specific program.

Aid Liberty Missions is a registered Canadian charity with the Government of Canada; therefore, we can issue donation receipts. We also have our accounting prepared by the C.S.O.C., who are professionals in the field of working with charity accounting books. We also have all our financial statements prepared and ready should anyone have any questions regarding the numbers.
Our partner, the LUCU Orphanage, has been working with us for years. We have a Charitable Project Agreement between the two parties. In the Agreement, any funds sent to LUCU from Aid Liberty Missions must go directly to the purpose for which they were sent, evidenced by photos or videos provided by the manager and founder of the orphanage. Furthermore, the Ugandan government requires all orphanages to be registered with their government (to crack down on fraud) and must also have yearly audits completed for accountability purposes. Tax Receipts​
Aid Liberty Missions is a missions group which started out in a church called Liberty Ministries. Liberty Ministries is a church which branched out into doing missions with orphanages in other countries. Liberty Ministries is a Registered Canadian Charity and therefore can issue donation receipts. We require your complete legal name, address and a means of contacting you (phone or email) to administer the receipts.
International donations are welcome, and we are proud to say that many of our international friends have and continue to donate to our missions and projects. Unfortunately, at this time, we can only issue donation receipts within Canada but are hoping to one day expand to other regions as well.
Fund a Project
We have completed many projects, like renovating the kitchen and building a security wall, but there are many more required to create a sustainable and secure orphanage. With constant progress reports available as we approach our goals, we would be honoured if you chose to help us complete these projects.
Monthly Sponsor
This method of donation is a commitment. Though it does not go directly to one orphan in particular, this option ensures that the children of LUCU Orphanage always have fresh water, food, electricity, wood for cooking, oil for cooking, sanitary supplies and other necessities.
